High-PSV Chips

Rearcross Quarries Ltd also supplies a range of quality high-PSV chips, commonly used on road surfaces. Polished stone value (PSV) is a test used to determine the resistance of a stone to the polishing action of vehicle tyres. Chips with a high PSV value are required by law to be used on roads in order to improve the handling and stopping distances of vehicles. All of our high-PSV chips are pyrite free, undergo stringent testing and we are fully CE certified.

For your convenience, we operate an efficient delivery service to customers throughout Tipperary and Limerick. We have a fleet of trucks available and can arrange for your high-PSV chips to be delivered at a time that is suitable to you. Alternatively, you can collect your order from our quarry.
